Naif Arab University for to certain components of national security in Arab countries.. It
emphasizes the rapid advancements in super artificial intelligence
Security Sciences technologies in recent times, whichrepresent the most advanced and
dangerous emerging technologies. These technologies are considered
48 a deeper historical turning point than the industrial revolution with
its various manifestations. It is expected that these technologies will
change the course of humanity due to their multiple capabilities that
surpass human intelligence, encompassing a wide range of cognitive
and technical tasks.
The development of these technologies raises numerous concerns and
security-related challenges. These include the loss of human ability to
guide and control these systems, the potential displacement of human
roles and jobs, and the conflict between this advancement and human
values. Thus, leading to undesirable catastrophic outcomes that could
impact the future of national security in Arab countries.
Recently, artificial intelligence and its various applications have gained

potential to drive economic growth and sustainable social development.
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates have
adopted artificial intelligence technology, announcing several strategic
projects and investments in the field, in addition to the continuous
research and development in technological infrastructure. This
consequently contributes to the growth of artificial intelligence
applications and models in the Arab region, fosters innovation, and
opens new opportunities for these applications in various sectors of
society.
Nevertheless, one of the main challenges in the Arab region regarding
the adoption of artificial intelligence applications is the insufficient and
inadequate technological infrastructure to accommodate the expected
developments in digital infrastructure devices, and data privacy
limitations. This poses an obstacle to the development of technology
